Letterpress printing shop Galery of Samples, hand made papers

This Christmas card was produced using the circa 1920 die shown on the right. We found this die
in an old print shop when we had purchased under a bunch of ruble. It is a brass die mounted on
what looks like oak. It is very uneven and took a great deal of make ready to get it to print evenly.
We found the end result very pleasing.

Stock: Crane's 100 cotton
Inside Copy: Merry Christmas foil stamped in gold.
